GIFAS all rubber junction boxes are assembled "on demand". That means that every single product is a very customized solution. The size of the box/ body is defined by customer requirements on electrical devices. Perfect and customized assembly either with Schuko (230 V household power socket) or CEE (industrial power socket, 230V or 400 V) in combination with other devices like phone or antenna connectivity, cable glands, switches, push bottoms, ...

Assembly parts already purchased by the customer can be forwarded to GIFAS and will be assembled in a very professional way.

Ruels and definitions

Safety switch
(main switch – power supply switch for machinery and hoisting devices)

Definition
it is not allowed to use this particular main switch as an emergency switch. Painting of switch panel is black or grey. The switch must connect the connective power at al poles. The switch must be lockable in the OFF position e.g. by a padlock.

Circuit breaker

Definition
The circuit breaker has to disconnect al poles, does not have a power switching capability, a construction against aberrant switching need to be included. The colour of the switch need to be black or grey.

Security switch with emergency switch

Definition
This switch can be used as an emergency switch. The colour of the switch handle need to be red. The grounding colour is yellow. The sswitch need to be lockable at OFF- position e.g. by a padlock..

They offer maximum safety to the user by the installation of fuses and earth leakage circuit breakers.

Simultaneous all-polo disconnecting and safe reconnecting is guaranteed.

Regulations for reducers and industrial connectors are to be found in ÖVE-EN 50250.

Equipment protective against overcharge must be installed in all places where the permissible permanent current lz is being reduced if the protective equipment primarily installed cannot provide such protection.

One-piece reducers with industrial connectors are not permitted. There must be a flexible cord between plug and socket with a minimum length of 800mm in Austria an 1m in Germany.

Welding products

All welding cable plugs are all-rubber insulated and have a full-brass rotatable cone connector. Clamptype bush of tin-plated copper with clamp screw. All 600A connections have two screws.
Electrode holders are made for welding currents of 300-600A. Supplied with inside clamp type bushes of tin-plated copper and screws. The insulated shells can be unscrewed and are available as spare parts.
